Final project done

I have finished editing my final project.
It looks nice for me. Hope everyone gonna like it.

It is about janitor and students in Temple University Japan.
This janitor is very famous and almost everyone in the school knows him.
But the point is no one in the school knows his name.
So I'm introducing him to everyone.

Do you know his name?

This is my final project topic. Finally I got an idea.
The picture is the subject of my final project. His name is Suzuki-san. He is working at temple university japan, and he is collecting garbage, changing ash tray and cleaning up school.

He is mostly in 1st and 2nd. And most of the student have seen him at least once.
But, nobody know his name. This is my first approach of my project.
I have interviewed him and I'm going to interview students about Suzuki-san.

And here are the list of questions I plan to ask to students

• Do you know him?
• Do you know his name?
• What do you think about him?
• What is his impression?
• What is he often doing?

FInal Project "Tokyo Gomi Story" failed again

Yesterday, I got a phone call from a guy in the Ota-incinerator plant.
The guy said that they can't trust my project. They are afraid to use the project as more than I said. They also said they don't have time. They are liar. Even I went to their place and have a tour, and talk about my project, also I sent them to my proposal. But their answer is NO, they don't have time.

Last Saturday, I went to tour of Ota-incinerator plant. And looked for what is interesting to focus.
I decided to focus on people work at there. Also I want to shoot the interesting place I found in the factory.

Today, I sent them an proposal and shot list. Hope they gonna say yes.

FInal Project "Tokyo Gomi Story" again

I am go back to my starting point now. I found different place which is related to my gomi project. It is call, incinerator plant in Ota-city. I have to go to a tour of looking around this place on this Saturday. I don't have so much time, but I want to stick with this first idea now. And after I look around the place, I have to send them project script. And they will say yes or no. This is very risky but I hope they gonna say yes to me.

I also want to do this project for UPIU as well. Have to find out newsy angle for this.

Possible Topic for my final project

I am really stuck with my final project idea.
But I have some ideas...

1. "Ohashi Jyouzu Desune"

• I am interested in why Japanese people ask "you are good at using chopstick" to foreign people in Japan.
  
• Many foreign people don't like to be asked this question. And why they hate being asked this question.
• The goal is to remove misunderstanding of each other.

2. "Push as many buttons as I can"

• There are so many buttons which are not pushed by people in Tokyo. So I'm going to push these buttons with paper printed hand and shoot the picture of that.
• The goal is to think about how these buttons are important.
  

Final Project

I was thinking and really want to do Tokyo Gomi Story.
But the people in disposal place can not do interview.
They said they only accept interview for TV company or text book for Ministry of Education.

So I have to come up with other idea now...

Which related to Tokyo somehow. Culture of Tokyo, What is Tokyo.
I'll think about that.

Manga Kissaten

Yesterday, we call some Manga Kissatens , but most of them say NO for shooting.
One of the Manga Kissaten said YES, but the owner don't want to show or interviewed by us.
So, we are now go back to starting point...

And I am thinking to having interview with many people work at gomi place with same question.

Tokyo GOMI story

My final project will be kind of documentary style video. The video is about garbage in Tokyo. People tend to forget that they are throwing away garbage. We all hate garbage, the look of garbage, the smell of garbage. And I hate it as well. But garbage don't disappear by themselves. Someone bring them to different place. And I want to feature about the people who are working at garbage disposal place. What they think about us people, the producer of garbage, and also themselves are also producer, so how do they feel about it.

Now, I am trying to have an appointment of interviewing the people working at disposal place in Tokyo, just sent an application form to have a shooting there. I don't know they gonna say yes or not, but I really want to work on this project, so I hope they will give me a chance.

3 days project.

I'm making a film now, so recently I go to cafe to write my script almost everyday.
Near my house, there are several places where I like to do my work. And I did an interview at one of the cafe for my first project.

There are so many people doing their works in cafe. Some of them are studying, and some others are doing their works with their laptop. Tokyo is really a busy place. People always looks very busy. Sound or even smell of Tokyo make me feel busy. Now, I am really interested in what other people are doing in this cafe. What are they doing? Why they are studying so hard? I decided to ask these questions to one woman.
